Flowers to the Folks
Because every moment—grief, joy, gathering, remembrance—deserves to be held with beauty.
Flowers to the Folks brings fresh, intentional blooms to BIPOC gatherings, memorials, joy rituals, and grief circles—and delivers weekly bouquets to families receiving food from the Black Community Food Center and Rockwood Village Pantry. We honor the full spectrum of human experience with flowers that heal, honor, and celebrate.
To ensure sustainability, we offer up to 4 donation requests per year. If we’re unable to fulfill your request this season, we’ll connect you with alternatives and welcome you back next cycle.
We also offer community-rate flower purchases—bouquets, small installations, and space-making arrangements—for events, homes, or community spaces. All proceeds support our Palestinian and Black farmers, mutual aid work and keep the blooms flowing.

At the Black Community Food Center, located at 4450 NE 131st Ave, we nourish more than bodies—we support whole lives. Our two Community Health Workers, Shavantee and Sonya, are part of the Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) contract through Health Share of Oregon, a vital partnership that allows us to provide wraparound services to our BIPOC community. This means we don’t just connect you to food—we link you to housing support, behavioral health, transportation, medical care, and social services—all coordinated through a trusted, culturally grounded network.
Based at the pantry but embedded in broader care systems, our team works with Health Share’s care teams and community partners to ensure you’re not just referred—but held through the process of navigating care systems. Whether you need help applying for benefits, finding a therapist, securing stable housing, or navigating insurance, we walk with you.
We’re proud to be a frontline hub for holistic care—because true wellness starts with dignity, access, and community.
